LA Marathon 2009 through Koreatown

Monday, May 25th, 2009

This year’s marathon course went through Koreatown on Olympic Boulevard from Wilton Place to downtown Los Angeles.

In front of Koreatown Youth and Community Center (KYCC)
Address: 680 S Wilton Place, Los Angeles, CA 90005

This was at 11 AM. The field of 17,000+ runners started at around 7 AM, and the winners Wesley Korir of Kenya and Tatiana Petrova of Russia had already crossed the finish line before 10 AM.

It was fun cheering on those who were trying to finish the 26.2 miles, regardless of how long it took.
