31-Cent Scoop Night at Baskin Robbins

Baskin-Robbins is having its 31 Cent Scoop Night on April 28 (Wednesday) from 5 pm to 10 pm at its Southern California locations.  A 2.5-ounce ice cream scoop will be just 31 cents!  The event is for the benefit of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, an organization to which Baskin Robbins has promised a $100,000 donation.

Koreatown does have a Baskin Robbins ice cream shop on Third Street and Ardmore… Good luck getting service there.  You may opt to go to another location, because there are so many in Los Angeles anyway!

Transformers Star TYRESE GIBSON casting for K-TOWN REALITY SHOW

On Saturday, April 24 , from 12 pm to 6 pm, there will be an open casting call event at HQ Pictures, the production company started by Tyrese Gibson (model/musician/actor and star of Transformers, 2 Fast 2 Furious), for the highly talked about K-Town reality show. The producers will be looking for the most interesting, attractive, colorful Asian Americans to be cast in a reality show similar to JERSEY SHORE and the REAL WORLD in format.

In particular, potential cast members with lively, strong and unique personalities between the ages of 18 to 30 will be sought, especially individuals who know about and/or experienced the Koreatown life.

Thousands of people have applied, and the producers have already been informed that people are traveling from Michigan, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, New York, Washington, and even Korea and France, just to audition for this reality show. From this casting session, the producers will select the final 8 cast members for the K-Town reality show.

The producers invite all press to attend and cover this event. There will be an opportunity to learn more about the project and interview the hundreds of people lined around the block.
