New Koreatown Park: Wilton & Olympic

Friday, October 21st, 2011

A new park is opening on land slightly west of what the city considers Koreatown proper… but hey the KYCC (Korean Youth and Community) is giving out trees during the grand opening event on October 22nd, Saturday.

Address: 1015 S. Wilton Place, Los Angeles, CA 90018

The formal name is Country Club Park Heritage Plaza, but folks are trying to tone it down by calling it Wilton Place Park.

Free food from 10 am to 1 pm on opening day… Formal ceremony involving the politician involved is likely to be at 11 am.
