Description of the Offical Flag of South Korea
Three elements:
A white background. A red and blue yin-yang symbol in the center. A different black trigram from the ancient Chinese I Ching (Book of Changes) in each corner of the white field.
The Taegeukgi was declared the official flag of Korea by King Gojong on March 6, 1883.
