Finally, after much anticipation… the cleaners on the ground floor of the Solair Wilshire opened on March 8, Monday!

The nice owner Agnes was there with Sammy, who is in charge of alterations. They are giving away $5 coupons off $20 purchases that you can use at either the Solair Cleaners or at the soon-to-open Aroma Cafe, which has the same proprietor.
Prices? They have to take a look, but in general a sweater is at least 5.25 while a jacket is about 8 dollars. They say they’re cheaper than Imperial Cleaners a few blocks north.
Hours Open: 8:00 am – 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday; 9:00 am – 6:00 pm on Saturday; closed on Sunday.

Was on my way to get my free peach tea latte at The Coffee Bean, when I spotted this gala at the Solair.

The HSBC bank has been open for quite a while now but they just had their Grand Opening party tonight. Camera crews in attendance… Hors d’oeuvres galore…

I also took a photo of their lunch specials on the board they have inside, but it isn’t an attractive picture. The soups and specials are changed everyday. Today, Monday, they served the following:
